SMS Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tru Balance, LLC handles information connected with its one-to-one SMS service.
Information we collect
When you opt in, we collect your mobile telephone number, consent record, language selection, and the date and source of consent. We also retain the content and delivery information of SMS conversations as necessary to provide the service and meet legal or carrier requirements.
How we use SMS information
We use this information only to provide client-requested one-to-one communications, including appointment coordination, answers to general service questions, and service updates. SMS is not used for bulk marketing or automated promotional campaigns.
How information is shared
Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be processed by Microsoft Teams, telecommunications carriers, and service providers solely to deliver messages, maintain the service, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
Sensitive information
Do not send Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, bank or payment details, passwords, tax documents, health information, or other sensitive records by SMS. Use Tru Balance Secure Documents for confidential files and information.
Your choices
Reply STOP to end messages from the SMS-enabled number. Reply START to resume after opting out. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact us to request access to or deletion of your SMS consent information, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements.
